Likes & Favorites

How Likes Work

Click the heart icon on any wallpaper to like it. The like count is shared across all visitors — everyone sees the total number of likes in real-time.

Where Are My Likes Saved?

Your liked wallpapers are saved in your browser's local storage. This means your likes persist when you refresh the page, but they won't transfer to a different browser or device.

How to Unlike

Simply click the heart icon again on a wallpaper you've already liked. The heart will turn back to white and the like count will decrease by one.

Note If you clear your browser data or use incognito mode, your liked wallpapers won't be remembered. The total like count on each wallpaper is stored permanently though.

Troubleshooting

Try these steps:

  • Disable any ad-blockers for our site
  • Try a different browser (Chrome recommended)
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Check if your browser is blocking pop-ups
  • Make sure you have enough storage space

If none of these work, contact us and we'll help!

This usually happens due to:

  • Slow internet connection — wait a moment for images to load
  • Ad-blocker — some ad-blockers block image requests
  • VPN — certain VPNs can block Google Drive images
  • Browser cache — try hard refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R

A blurry wallpaper usually means the resolution doesn't match your screen. Here's what to do:

  • Phone: Download wallpapers labeled 1440×3200 for the best quality
  • Desktop: Use 4K (3840×2160) or 8K wallpapers
  • Ultrawide monitors: Look for wallpapers tagged "Ultrawide" or "UW"

Each wallpaper card shows its resolution in the badge at the top-left corner.

Likes are saved in your browser's local storage. They can disappear if you:

  • Cleared your browser data / cookies
  • Used incognito / private mode
  • Switched to a different browser
  • Used a different device

Unfortunately there's no way to recover lost likes, but the total like count on each wallpaper is stored permanently for all users.

Click the sun/moon icon in the top-right corner of the navigation bar to toggle dark/light mode. Your preference is saved automatically.

If the toggle doesn't appear, try refreshing the page or clearing your cache.

Our search looks at wallpaper names and tags. Try these tips:

  • Use simple keywords like "ocean", "dark", "car", "space"
  • Try different words — "mountains" instead of "mountain view"
  • Use the filter tags below the search bar for category-based filtering
  • Try the sort dropdown to find popular or recent wallpapers

Try these solutions:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
  • Clear browser cache
  • Disable browser extensions temporarily
  • Try a different browser

If the problem persists, check our status on the Contact page.
